It is envisaged that support for BAeF projects will be largely dependant upon the private sector for the foreseeable future.

In order to enhance the chances of success in raising the necessary funding, the BAeF would welcome the opportunity to secure relatively modest annual donations from a large number of contributors including, of course, from members of the aerobatic fraternity. Donations in the form of legacies would be an ideal way for those who have been closely associated with aviation to help ensure that Britain achieves and maintains a position amongst the leaders in what could easily be compared to an Olympic standard sport (which of course it was until 1936).
Where appropriate, the BAeF will liaise with contributors to establish ways in which they might wish to publicise their involvement with the projects outlined on this website.

Potential contributors might wish to reflect on the proposition that, having shown it's pre-eminence in terms of aeronautical engineering as well as having produced many of the world's leading military and commercial pilots, Britain should not be allowed to lag behind its contemporaries from France, Russia, the USA, the Czech Republic, Spain, Hungary and a host of other countries, merely for the want of relatively modest financial support.

The scholarship scheme in particular, has the potential to provide pilots with a wonderful opportunity to excel in this purest form of aviation. It also provides successful members of the private sector with an opportunity to invest further in British aviation. These pilots would not expect to get something for nothing. They know that they will have to work extremely hard, both physically and mentally, and show great determination and commitment if they are ultimately to represent their country and to do well at the highest level of competitive aerobatics.

The BAeF is always keen to discuss potential funding solutions with interested parties or intending benefactors. In the first instance please contact the company secretary via the details given on the Foundation Trustees page.
